The Flushies is an annual awards program recognizing individuals, cities, counties, agencies, and organizations who are advancing access to clean, safe, and equitable restroom facilities.

Bathrooms are not a luxury. They are essential to public health, disability access, workforce well-being, and equity — and the people doing the work to improve them deserve to be celebrated. The Flushies exist to spotlight real-world action, normalize the conversation around restroom access, elevate best practices, and accelerate progress by celebrating leaders who are improving access today, from city halls and transit agencies to advocates, innovators, and individuals willing to talk openly about why this work matters.
